It was all

a dream.

Until it wasn’t.

After 20 years working in the world of events across theatre, gigs, and fine dining, I’d achieved a lot on paper. But deep down, something didn’t feel right. I wasn’t happy, and I knew something had to change.

I started therapy to dig deeper and soon discovered I’d been quietly battling ADHD alongside being dyslexic. That kicked off a whole lot of soul searching. And in the middle of it all, I realised the thing I loved doing most, cooking, might just be the thing I was meant to do all along.

I began selling my food at markets in and around London, testing recipes, seeing what people connected with, and blending that with what I genuinely loved making. And just like that, The Holy Kitchen was born: family-style dining with heart, soul, and attention to every detail, from table settings and the scent of seasonal flowers, to how the food looks, tastes, and makes you feel. For me, a truly memorable meal is about the whole experience.

Plant-based cooking has not only become a way of life it’s become a true passion. In fact, it’s when I made the switch to plant-based that I really fell in love with food again. I started to play, experiment, and have fun with it.

Of course, I’ve had my fair share of kitchen disasters along the way, but that’s all part of the story. And it’s why I can stand here today and say, hand on heart, I’ve created something bloody great. And now I want to share it with you.

Cooking is my therapy, my happy place, my sanctuary, and if it brings you joy too, well, that’s just the icing on the cake.

Love ya,

Stephen xx
